There are a few different standards for NFTs. ERC-721, ERC-721A, ERC-1155, and many others.
ERC 721 is the OG, the original standard used by legendary NFT collections like Cryptopunks, Board Ape Yacht Club, CryptoKitties and more.
ERC 1155 is the successor, and is faster, better, cheaper, and more useful in every way. However, it has only recently begun to become supported by major wallets and apps.
The future is bright for ERC-1155, and let’s look at some of the top NFT projects using it.
